PRODUCT PROFILE:
CleanSpace, the crawl space encapsulation system reduces moisture and lowers humidity, making the indoor environment healthier and more efficient. Sealed crawl spaces consistently outperform wall vented crawl spaces. Some charateristics of CleanSpace include: a complete and permanent moisture management solution, an anti-microbial liner, humidity and moisture reduction, the elimination of odors, a Class “A” fire-rating, savings on energy bills, durability that reclaims storage space, uv inhibitors and stabilizers, and the best sump system on the planet.
Traditional dirt crawl spaces have many problems. They are breeding grounds for insects and animals, such as, spiders, beetles, centipedes, termites, mice, rats and snakes. They have a high humidity level and have condensation providing a water source for critters. Dirt crawl spaces are an environment where mold spores thrive. Mold can grow on dirt, insulation, framing and even carpet. Some varieties of mold are toxic. Dirt crawl spaces are also vented to outside air. In the Summer, this lets warm humid air in, adding moisture to the crawl space and making it harder for air-conditioners to get the moisture out of the air. In the Winter, this lets cold air in, driving up heating costs. With a dirt crawl space there is also the possible threat of radon gas exposure from the ground. CleanSpace reduces exposure to this gas.
The solution is the Clean Space crawl space encapsulation system. The CleanSpace liner isolates the home from the dirt crawl space completely and permanently. The liner is similar in thickeness to a pool liner and is made of high-density polyethylene. The white color brightens the crawlspace so that you can easily see that it is free from insects, mold and dirt. The top edge of the CleanSpace liner is sealed to the walls with a polyurethane sealant and 4″ wide sealing tape.

Company Profile: Chemholz Holz
Product Profile: Marin Maritime Water Resistant Floor
Chemholz Holz is a pioneer in developing technological solutions to wood and plastics manufacture. They specialize in joining wood to plastic, specifically through the development of polyurethanes. They are based out of Austria.
Marin Maritime Wood is water resistant flooring. It is suitable for underfloor heating. It is ready to lay and is a hygienic surface that is warm to walk on. It is often used in bathrooms, living and wellness areas.
The main advantages of Marin Maritime Wood rests on Thermowood and PU joint technology. The Thermowood process heats hardwood for 24 to 90 hours at temperatures, which can reach up to 200°C. This changes the cellular structure so that uptake of water, and by extension the moisture content of the timber, is reduced. Expansion and contraction are reduced by up to 70%. Bacteria and fungi that break wood down lose their basic food because hemicellulose – a short-chain carbohydrate building block – is broken down. Thermal treatment has a secondary advantage; the timber last considerably longer and has greater dimensional stability.
The boards are poured with a PU (polyurethane)-joint and these prominent black joints gives the floor a special “ship-deck-character”. Besides aesthetics, these pu-joints support the natural respiration of the wood thereby reducing swelling and shrinkage. It also improves resistance to moisture and wetness. The pu-joints are resistant to weak acids and alkaloids which means that they can be sanded down for future refinishing.

This natural matt finish has extraordinary abrasion resistance and will not be as susceptible to wear and tear as other finishes that need additional surface coatings or hard wax for protection. This makes Natural perfectly suited to commercial areas such as offices, shops museums, airports and shopping centers where a high wear resistance is required with minimal maintenance costs and disruption. It is equable suitable for domestic applications emphasizing the natural warmth of a timber floor in the home.
Distinct advantage’s of Natural over other floor oils is that there is no need to apply additional wax coatings over the surface to ensure its longevity .In addition its 100% solid content results in a very high quality floor finish with 100% of the product applied to the timber floor remaining in the timber surface.
